BUSINESS SERVICES
Mission
The Business Services Department provides an integral and essential element to the successful delivery of education to the students in our District. Our primary purpose is to facilitate the educational process by providing new facilities, technology support, financial services, student transportation, food services, and maintaining and operating existing facilities. Our code of conduct is driven by a culture of customer service. We instill within our department exemplary leadership, management, innovation, initiative, pride and personal work ethics.
Business Services includes two departments that support the educational programs of the school district. Each of the two departments is lead by a Director that reports to the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services. The Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Superintendent of the school district.
Financial Services Purpose: The Financial Services Department accounts for and reports all the District's financial transactions. These activities include budget development and management, purchasing, receiving and warehousing, asset management, accounting, payroll, employee health and welfare benefits, accounts payable, internal auditing, and the management of all the District's funds.
Food Services Purpose: The primary function of the Food Services Department is to provide breakfast and lunch in a friendly environment to students and staff. This department operates within the guidelines set by the U.S.D.A. and the National School Lunch program to provide nutritious meals. |
