SITE RENDERINGS FOR K-8 CONVERSION PROJECT -  BANNON CREEK

At the December 2008 Board Meeting, the Board designated Bannon Creek Elementary School as the South Natomas school site to be converted from a K-5 to a K-8 curriculum. The K-8 Conversion is funded through Measure "D" passed in June 2006. This project was prioritized by the Board in January - March 2007 as part of a major district-wide project process.

An advisory committee started due to ongoing community interest in February 2007 and met through August 2007.  The committee was comprised of parents, teachers and principals of potential school sites. This conversion will require the design and construction of three new buildings (two classroom buildings and a gymnasium) as well as the modification of several existing facilities (offices, bathrooms, service utilities and access point/parking as well as removal of existing portables).

Below are renderings of the Bannon Creek K8 Conversion project re-design.
