CELEBRATIONS I like to start every staff meeting with celebrations. It is too easy to get caught up in all of our "to-do lists," and I think it is important to stop every once in a while, and celebrate all that makes Natomas High School a great place to learn, work and play.
Summer Celebrations:
*Our EL Program is larger and more diversified that ever, including more multiple Math, Science and Social Science offerings.
* Our Advanced Placement scores are in...and the NHS AP English students have broken a school record! We had twice the number of students take the exam than our sister high school and we had 25% more pass the test!!!
* Our signature Drum Corps played the California State Fair and are already booked for five fall events!
* The Natomas High School PTSA gears up for a fantastic year by kicking off the Fall staff meeting with an amazing breakfast for the staff!
* NHS office staff receive praise to the superintendent's office from satisfied customers. In August, several parents said that our staff were positive, professional and supportive!
* NHS TEST SCORES SOAR TO HIGHEST PERFORMANCE LEVELS IN SCHOOL HISTORY!!! The results are in: NHS has more students scoring proficient and advanced in school history!!!
