Electronic Devices
While not recommended, students may bring electronic devices (i.e. cell phones, iPods, etc.) to school. They may be used before school, during passing periods, lunch and after school. Students may not use electronic devices during class time. Teachers may ask students to check in their cell/electronic devices at the start of class. Teachers will make all efforts possible to safe-guard the collected items. NP3 is not responsible for lost or stolen electronics. On the 1st offense the electronic device will be confiscated and secured in the principal’s office. After a conference with the principal the device will be returned to the student. On the 2nd offense the device will be confiscated and will only be returned to the student’s parent/guardian. On the 3rd offense the device will be confiscated, returned to the parent/guardian and the student will not be allowed to bring the device to school for the remainder of the year.
Parents are not to call or text students during the school day. Parents wishing to contact their student during the day are to call the front office at 567-5740.
